Almost like watching a sci-fi movie, isn't it? Björk created Biophilia with the intent of creating an interactive experience for her audience, so the album will be accompanied by 10 iPhone / iPad apps, one for each song. The Attenborough video is actually a preview for the apps. Here's a preview of the album, followed by a video of the single Crystalline.

Biophilia will be released in September. The Biophilia apps can be downloaded from the iTunes store. Read an interview with media artist, filmmaker, and interactive design researcher Scott Snibbe, who worked with Björk on Biophilia's "mother" app, at Co. Design.
