This satire of corporate culture, American culture and mass consumerism won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short in 2010. I found the film at Vimeo today. It was posted by a co-owner of the company that produced the original music. [ if you're reading from a feed, click here to see videos ]
Logorama from Marc Altshuler (Human Music) on Vimeo
This short film was directed by the French animation collective H5 (François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy and Ludovic Houplain). It was presented at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival 2009 and opened the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. All original music and sound design by human.
Take a look at this other animated piece from the same studio H5: a music video for Remind Me, a song by Norwegian electronic music duo Röyksopp. This one uses lots of diagrams, charts and infographics (I love infographics!!) to illustrate a day in the life of a woman working in the City in London. Very cool!
